Zeke is a lawyer by education and a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), with a forensic background at PwC and KPMG.​

He is focused on pragmatic advice, having built best in class compliance and ESG (environmental, social and governance) programs.​ Clients include companies from sectors as diverse as manufacturing, tech, energy production, chemicals and logistics.

Joana Donas-Botto



Joana has been an Associate at North Star since 2020 and is based in London.


A qualified Portuguese lawyer with an LLM from the University of Coimbra, Joana brings over 7 years of post-qualification experience in both civil and common law jurisdictions.


Joana specialises in contract management, legal drafting, research and analysis. She has experience across multiple industries, most recently in the renewable energy and fintech sectors, contributing to multimillion-pound contract negotiations and managing complex cross-border projects.
